Rebuilt Pumps & Motors Limited (RPM) is an electrical apparatus rewind and repair facility located in the Bourne's Electric Building in the Carbonear Industrial Park.

RPM specializes in electrical apparatus rewind and repairs, electrical and mechanical modifications, sales and service. The demand for this service greatly intensified with the closing of the cod fishery in 1992 and with the introduction of crab and shrimp processing and plant modernization going from labour intensive operations to totally automated equipment.

Owner, Sean Bishop, has over 20 years experience in the electrical apparatus rewind and repair field. Sean has completed courses in Electrical, Marine Electrical Technician, and has a Journeyperson Certificate in Electrical Apparatus Rewind and Repair attained at Conestaga College in Kitchener, ON in 1992.

He has operated a rewind, repair and sales facility in Carbonear since 1992 and operated RPM for 9 years since then.

RPM has a staff of 5 employees who work full time and due to increasing demand for their products and services will see employment grow on a regular basis into the future.

Sean is presently in the process of diversifying his list of clientele to include oil and gas, mining, and marine related customers.
